Hacienda Sac Chich by Reyes Ríos + Larraín Arquitectos

Located in Acanceh – home to an ancient Mayan archaeological site – in Yucatan, Mexico, Hacienda Sac Chich was constructed by Reyes Ríos + Larraín Arquitectos in 2010.The home blurs the boundaries between ‘indoors’ and ‘outdoors’ by the use of openings which lead straight outside from bedrooms and living rooms; added to this earthy effect is the fact that much of the furniture is sculpted straight from the stone that makes up the house.
