The shades are made of either Nordic birch or white ash veneer following Scandinavian traditions. The shade has a white paper fleece on the inside and the veneer is stained with a white semi transparent stain on the outside. When lit, the blonde veneer offers a warm glow, filtering out light between the carved treetops. .
