Jaehyo Lee is a Korean artist who has a very distinctive way of manipulating form, not just through molding but by cutting, not compromising the natural shape of the original material. Working with basic materials,Jaehyo performs simple albeit labor intensive operations the “Pine and Chestnut Chair”being shown at Design Days Dubai, is another master piece from the designer. The biomorphic chair is made from immaculately assembled and sculpted wood logs.
