Bent by Chris Kabel + Abbink X de Haas

Dutch designer Chris Kabel has been commissioned by Abbink X to wrap a building in the centre of Amsterdam with a veiled facade through a sublime integration of art and architecture. Aluminum sheets are perforated with a pattern that allows the shapes to be bent up or down. When bent up the surface catches the (sun)light and bent down the surface is shaded.
