Robot With Air Filled Legs

The Italian Institute Of Technology & Kings College, London have designed a quadruped robot drawing inspiration from flexible muscles of an octopus.The project is called Locomotion With Continuum Limbs. This robot walks with the help of air powered soft tentacles inside the hollow legs. The project is headed by Isuru S Godage,Thrishantha Nanayakkara and Darwin G Caldwell and was displayed during the international Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems at Vilamoura,Portugal.
