Forest Corridor In Heart Of Hong Kong | Bread Studio

Residents of Hong Kong are often disturbed by the vehicular traffic,noise and light.Designers at Bread Studio have come up with a unique proposal called the “Forest Corridor”. The proposal aims to develop of a non-intrusive barrier with climber plants acting as a screen between the highway and its surroundings. The climber plants are grown in special plant pots below the highway and rise up along the posts installed along the highway. The posts are made of laminated recycled plastic lumber created from recycled laminated milk jugs and shampoo bottles. The material has life expectancy of about 50 years. ...............
