American-Crafted Furniture with a Myriad of Inspirations
The newest collection from the North Carolina–based firm Councill features an eclectic mix of furniture inspired by various periods, from ancient Greco-Roman to Bauhaus, all made in America with rich, sensual materials. The Deco-inspired Josef chest is mahogany, with a white lacquer urn-shape overlay recalling the work of the Deco master Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann.
