Vintage Hermès Scarves Transformed into Pillows
Home accessories designer Monica Fittipaldi, the daughter-in-law of racecar driver Emerson Fittipaldi, has amassed a sizable collection of vintage Hermès scarves (her earliest edition is circa 1934, when the company first introduced its coveted scarves). Now, the Miami-based designer is using the silk scarves in sumptuous pillows that showcase Hermès’ hand-printed artistry, some requiring 20 silkscreens to apply the colors.
