I AM NOT A VIRGIN Makes Jeans From Brown Beer Bottles

Founded by Peter Heron,I AM NOT A VIRGIN (IANAV), uses recycled material to produce jeans and T-shirts. Heron began by making prototype jeans from fabric scraps collected at various Chinese manufacturing mills. In early 2011 Heron started experimenting with a new American fabric consisting of 75 per cent cotton and 25 per cent recycled synthetics,including brown beer bottles collected from recycling factories. The process of breaking down the beer bottles to a thread-like material is complex and complicated.The bottles along with caps and labels are ground into small chips.
