Amalia Chair: Hand Woven Chair

Woven furniture has been around for a long time. Amalia chair has been created by Christopher Macalusa and Camila de Gregorio in conjunction with mimbre artisans Francisco Palma and Mario Rojas. The technique of hand weaving mimbre (a natural plant fiber) originated in Chimbarongo,a town located 160 Km South of the Chilean capital.
