TAIPEI MUSEUM OF ART
The Taipei Museum of Art monumental masses might look monolithic on the approach, and it’s the expression of its envelope that earns it admiration. The plan itself is quite compelling with the abstract arrangement of conceptual forms and enormous curving facades. Glazed ceramic extrusions embellish the building with fascinating surface effects, gradually changing in color around the gallery rounds as the walls’ relationships with the sun begin to change.
