O'Hara Studio Waikato Seat
Waikato in Maori means "flowing water." O'Hara Studio has captured the gesture of a winding current in this piece. When the flow of water meets two stones, a chute is formed between them; the resulting form makes a comfortable cradle for the one seated within that flow. This piece sits on three "legs" one of them anchored in a cast metal socket.
