Which Heating System to Install?
I have been struggling a lot lately with the issue of how best to heat this addition, and there are many considerations in play. Since Gabriola Island does not have access to natural gas, and because oil heating is out for environmental reasons in my mind, there are limited options. Fortunately, we won't need air conditioning on the island since the summer temperatures are perfect! There is a trade-off between spending money upfront on a system v. monthly operating costs...
