Located in downtown Bergamo (Italy) the m2 house by studio bettinelli extends on two levels reuniting an old apartment and a loft in one functional space. The apartment expands vertically incorporating an attic through a massive wooden staircase conceived as a walkway from the bottom up; a dark solid volume that connects the two units.
