Spain's Metropol Parasol
The new Metropol Parasol in Saville, Spain made it's debut in March of this year. Designed by Berlin-based Jürgen Mayer H and engineered by Arup the structure is the world's largest building held together primarily by glue. The long-spanning structure, of plywood, metal and glue measures up to 492 feet long, 246 feet wide and 92 feet high.
