Bentwood Stool from Lapalma

This sculptural stool began its life as an experiment to maximize the bending of a sheet of plywood. The final result is a stool created from a single sheet of plywood with no division between its parts. The seat and body of the stool merge from one to the other in a single fluid motion and with a large portion contacting the floor the pressure is evenly dispersed and the stability is increased.
