Jagorta, Light Transmitting Veneered Panels
Through a unique process recently developed light can be transmitted through the layers of a veneered panel so that one can see the natural beauty and structure of the selected veneer. The veneer surface is illuminated by backlighting the complete panel; however the degree to which it is illuminated depends of the veneer species, the surface finish and the strength of the back-light.Currently available are veneered panels of bamboo, bird’s eye maple, cherry, maple, oak, teak and zebrano. At this time the link is only to the company’s PDF as their new website is under construction.
