The Only All Wood High Speed Bike
Michael Thompson and James Tully,two British designers, have designed a fully wooden bike.The design is called “SplinterBike”,which the designer claim shall achieve a speed of 31 MPH. The SplinterBike does not have a single piece of metal,rubber or plastic. The axles are made of ekki wood. The frame, wheels and cogs are of birch wood, and the bearings are of ironwood.
