Time Machines
Herb Harris’ love affair with motorcycles dates back to his days as a 12-year-old junior high school student in Midland, Texas, when he would watch older students drive in on motorcycles and scooters. "They were like gods swooping in from the heavens," he recalls. His father hated motorcycles but recognized a good father-son bonding activity when he saw it, so he bought a bike and a few helmets and the two of them shared a bike. "He bought a few duds," Harris recalls with a chuckle, "but he was open to suggestion and we always had a bike."
