Satellite Dish Gazebo

Gazebo made from recycled satellite dish. This piece was meant to be a statement about the fad-like addiction to technology, without considering all the ramifications and the waste component, that we as humans seem especially vulnerable to. These huge satellite dishes were popular for less than a decade and are discarded in fields all over the county. They were a difficult, complicated, and expensive, fabrication that has become quite useless.A shining example of obsessive technology for technology's sake . I'll plant some aggressive vines on the four corners of this structure, and sooner or later it'll be covered. I hope to illustrate and put quotation marks around the Earth's ability to absorb so much of our crap and how temporal we are .Oh yeah, and in the meantime it'll be a cool gazebo for somebody...
