Antique Barn Wood Oak Flooring

This reclaimed oak was previously used as siding boards for tobacco-drying barns and the conditions that made for a good cure of the tobacco leaf also helped preserve the oak siding; the PatinaDeep product will have a partially milled face which leaves some of the original weathering and texture. When we mill the floor, we target about half of the surface area to be original with the other half milled; this process creates beautiful distinctions between the original weathered wood and the newly milled bright wood; with this mixture of appearances, an Antique Oak PatinaDeep floor can anchor a variety of design motifs from rustic to refined.
