Fastlane Glassgate from Integrated Design Ltd
Fastlane® Glassgate 400 from Integrated Design Ltd (IDL) has been installed in Macedonia to secure the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of a large Global Corporation. The British-owned company saw the full range of Fastlane® entrance control products being showcased by IDL at the IFSEC security exhibition in Birmingham, U.K. The eye-catching product designs and the advanced intelligence of the Fastlane® infrared detection system made the range stand out from the competition.
Fastlane® Glassgate 400 uses glass barriers of up to 1.8m in height, in conjunction with state-of-the-art optical technology to provide a high throughput security gate. The bi-directional glass barriers are designed to work in a ‘normally closed’ mode and open after a valid card has been presented to allow the authorised user to pass. The barriers move away from the user in a familiar 'door-like' motion, which is intuitive to use, ensuring quick acceptance. In the event of other authorised users trying to use the lane the barrier will stay open, even if they are walking in the opposite direction. The barriers will close quickly behind the authorised person to deter tailgaters.
