Xiamen Museum by MAD

The museum is located in the southern Chinese city of Xiamen, on an island in the middle of the reservoir that runs through downtown. At roof level, the landscape is made, referencing natural surroundings once again the museum: the unique topography of the lake, green and wetlands, all publicly accessible, floating in the air. The roof is also home to solar panels, taking advantage of the warm climate in the city.
