Rob Milam's Veneer Images
Rob Milam creates images with wood veneer using an artform known as marquetry with many exotic species woods. He uses Photoshop to create black-and-white line drawings showing the dark and light values. Then, he designs his veneer images based on those variations in contrast. Milam is currently taking commissions.
