Art Gallery South Africa by StudioMAS Architects Design
This space, designed by StudioMAS Architects + Urban Design, is an extension of the Circa Art Gallery in Rosebank, Johannesburg. It is an independent, muti-storied structure that is connected through a spiral, external ramp and it stands out due to its aluminum fin façade. The design allows a large quantity of natural light to shine in and provides a 360 view around the space, despite the fact there are no conventional windows. At night the three-story building lights up different colors. The gallery also includes a lounge on the top floor.
